Currently researching on innovative techniques to minimize power consumption in modern day microprocessors to extend battery life, pursuing thesis in "Energy Efficient Real-Time Scheduling".
Specific duties include:
*Conducted experiments on Heterogeneous Multi-Processor(HMP) ODROID-XU4 with Samsung Exynos5422 Cortex-A15 and Cortex-A7
*Implemented energy efficient scheduling based on Directed Acyclic Graphs(DAG) based on task profiles
*Utilized POSIX thread model on Linux Ubuntu 16.04 to schedule DAGs
*Monitored and altered processor frequency to minimize energy consumption in real-time
*Report energy measurements using on-board energy sensors
*Submitted technical findings to a Top-Tier real-time systems conference, ECRTS-2018 (Review in progress)
*Work and discuss progress with a team of 4
Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:
*Conduct and grade laboratory experiments for on-campus students
*Designed and grade assign in accordance the course
*Prepare and conduct laboratory experiments aimed at providing hands-on experience with Real Time Systems
*Singlehandedly lectured class of 15-20 students about working knowledge of real time systems concepts
*Help students with doubts and difficulties for better understanding of course material
