Aided in the maturation and management of Seismic’s analytics infrastructure, which is responsible for surfacing analytics and reporting data to 1,500+ customers worldwide, across millions of users (4.4+).
● Witnessed a significant evolution/re-architecture of the platform’s entire reporting infrastructure.
● One of two key engineers in the initial development and subsequent re-architecture of Seismic’s reporting ETL pipeline. Currently moving data from 1500+ operational SqlServer databases (typically 1-3 per tenant/customer).
● Designed, implemented, and subsequently maintained Seismic's GDPR Compliance over its analytics and reporting data.
● Performed the roles and responsibilities of a Data Analyst while the team's only Data Analyst went on parental leave. Designed 10+ dashboards over ~7 months - all of which, are still in use.
● Aided in the design of the Data Analyst interview problems.
● Interviewed multiple Data Analyst candidates.
● Became a "owner" of a critical platform microservice responsible for seamlessly integrating the core Seismic platform with Seismic's BI vendor (Sisense).
● Underwent multiple Data Quality initiatives where all development stopped until we met a separately defined SLO.
