Streaming and messaging infrastructure at Atlassian.
• Collaborated on proposal for a migration platform to replace a legacy platform that was unable to satisfy throughput and usability requirements. Helped design and prototype the system.
• Built tooling to provide managed Kafka infrastructure for the migration platform and other streaming services at Atlassian. Started the work as a solo effort, then formed a team to take the system to production.
• Adopted a Flink service built to support an observability use case and made it generally available as a platform. This platform is now used in production to support uses cases in security, datalake ingestion, observability, and user facing features.

As early employee at Domino, I led multiple teams working on everything from frontend features to platform efforts.
• Wrote a Kubernetes volume manager that maintains a cache of pre-staged volumes for faster startup times with configurable retention policy.
• Rearchitected system that allows users to view their workload logs in realtime, replacing a solution that caused ongoing complaints from customers.
• Reduced CPU utilization across the system by 33% replacing polling with a messaging.
• Led teams to build model hosting, feature store, git UI, and dataset products.
• Led teams to speed up launch time for interactive notebooks.
