👋Howdy! I'm Aaron. I design AI systems, agent workflows, and business platforms at scale.

I’m currently a Staff Designer at Meta, working at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence and Monetization—building the onboarding, deployment, and management layers that enable companies to operate omni-channel AI agents at scale. My work centers on a specific problem: AI systems are powerful, but difficult to operationalize. I design the systems that make them usable, trustworthy, and scalable in production.

Previously, I led design as a Director at Carta and a Senior Staff Designer at Shopify, driving products that materially advanced revenue, growth, and operational efficiency.

My work lives where AI, product strategy, and execution meet:

At Meta, I ship 0→1 AI tools across web, mobile, and emerging platforms—turning complex AI capabilities into intuitive, scalable products. Earlier, I created compelling consumer experiences across Meta’s Reality Labs surfaces.

At Carta, I redefined the product strategy for a new Private Equity vertical, sharpening focus and enabling an additional ~$50M in revenue, helping Carta reach profitability.

At Shopify, I helped transform logistics from a sales-led motion into a product-led growth engine, unlocking 8× acquisition and 4× activation gains within months.

I’m not just a designer—I think like a product strategist and systems builder. I work upstream to define strategy, shape bets, and stay close through execution to ensure what ships sustains scale.

I care deeply about:
- Closing the gap between what AI can do and what users can reliably use
- Designing systems that scale across markets, teams, and platforms
- Driving measurable outcomes—revenue, activation, retention
- Collaboratively building high-performance teams that move fast without sacrificing quality

Earlier in my career, I founded and led a design studio serving VCs and startups from zero to exit, and at General Assembly, I trained 400+ designers now working across the industry.

I’m particularly interested in designing AI systems that are not just powerful, but interpretable, controllable, and safe to deploy at scale.
