Maintaining the core infrastructure and supporting over 100 services on VMC on AWS with biweekly on call. Common problems faced during on-call are related to k8s deployments and pods, pipeline failures, and IaC. The on call engineer also handles operational issues that are pertinent during the week, such as token rotations and certificate renewals

Architected and executed solution for incremental terraform upgrade for entire codebase.

Performed upgrade on all common terraform repositories. I was the point of contact and assisted over 15 teams with the upgrade from the service specific terraform and also with the decoupling of services from our monorepo. I created a slack channel for quick support and wrote a detailed runbook on the procedure and common issues. This upgrade was done to enable resource tagging via terraform.

Designed and executed solutions for migrating pipelining infrastructure from Jenkins to ConcourseCI.

Migrated all common terraform pipelines and assisted all teams building on VMC on AWS with the migration. This also involved decoupling the remaining services from the monorepo. The move to Concourse was done as part of a costing effort and to implement modern best practices on our pipelining infrastructure, such as declarative code, significantly better pipeline UI, service pipeline velocity, transparent team metadata, etc.
