Hello, I am Abel Gechure. I am a Software Engineer with a background in computer science based in the New York metropolitan area. I  am a recent graduate of Flatiron School part-time software engineering program.  
Immediately after graduating from university I had the chance to work for a telecommunications company called Huawei Technologies. I enjoyed learning about mobile networks. I loved the new knowledge I acquired but I felt the need to go back to learning and pursuing a career in software engineering.
My main reason for wanting to work as a software engineer is so that I can be more of a creator of tech and not just a consumer. I want to use my skills to solve daily life problems and impact peoples lives for the better. 
I am knowledgeable in both front-end and back-end technologies
