### Software Engineer III @ Walmart Global Tech
Jan 2022 – Jan 2024 | Sunnyvale, California, United States
- Key contributor to "Uber Keys," a critical application within the UBER group at Walmart Global Tech. The application serves essential attributes for all Walmart and third-party online products. Part of the data store layer, it comprises separate read and write microservices.
- Orchestrated the write application using the Scala and Akka framework. Integrated RESTful APIs and asynchronous Kafka messages to process upstream payloads and establish attribute relationships. Also helped to develop part of the read application, a Java-based RESTful service, handling synchronous consumer requests.
- Implemented an innovative solution for a special case scenario named "split-merge," introducing a synchronous API call on the write side. This scenario involved merging distinct sets of identical product information, achieving an average of 1,000 transactions per second.
- Revamped error handling by encapsulating all write application errors and exceptions. Streamlined debugging and root cause analysis by sending comprehensive error details, incoming payload, and pipeline information to a dedicated Kafka topic.
- Collaborated with cross-functional teams to enhance the attribute relationships representing individual products. This effort contributed to data accuracy and consistency.
- Played a pivotal role in issue triage for consumers and upstream producers of the Uber Keys application. Assisted senior leaders by addressing queries, troubleshooting data consumption/publishing, and providing comprehensive solutions.

### Software Engineer II @ Cisco

- Part of SD-WAN team. Responsible for varied feature development using Java, Python, Neo4J, Postman. 
- Work on tickets dealing with Security and Infrastructure bugs. Problems range in scope such as dealing with securing rest
apis, preventing brute force attacks, dealing with fail-over logic when dealing with servers in a cluster, and out of memory issues when dealing with a significantly large number of nodes.

### Software Engineer II @ Konami Gaming, Inc.
Jan 2020 – Jan 2021 | Las Vegas, Nevada, United States
- Part of the SIL Embedded Interface Team. Responsible for varied feature development using Java, JMeter, and Oracle SQL Developer.
- Help design REST API to migrate endpoints from an older XML-based web service to a JSON compatible service. JUnit and Integration Testing are also part of this process. Heavily rely on asynchronous libraries such as CompletableFuture, Lambdas, and Streams.

### Software Engineer I @ ServiceNow
Jan 2018 – Jan 2020 | San Diego, California
- Part of the Discovery Product Team. Responsible for varied feature development using Java, JavaScript, PowerShell, and Bash. A notable feature that was contributed to was File-Based Discovery. This sends a probe to target hosts to extract
different information regarding the file system, which other applications can then use.
- Fix bugs (prbs) and incidents (customer case tasks) as new issues come. This led to collaborating with quality engineers
to create a wrapper framework to make automated tests for back-end Discovery processes easier to write.
- Extended ServiceNow’s Usage Analytics API to poll Discovery usage data from thousands of customer dev and prod
instances, accessible through the data center. This continues to be one of the key insights for the future trajectory of the product.
