• Launched Outlier.ai as Scale's expert-facing brand and product for language model trainers. Led PM and Design teams for expert facing product.

• Led acquihire pipeline for all EPD functions the company. Acquihired 4 companies that I was first point of contact for, responsible for 5 additional senior manager and director level hires through this pipeline.

• 8/9 offer accepts at <1% offer rate for the design function

• interviewed all PM hires for the Generative AI business unit.

• Hired both consumer and enterprise oriented ICs and managers to support internal and external facing business units.

• Supported a significant company culture shift to organize around language models in addition to computer vision for autonomous vehicles.

• Hires were from Anthropic, Carta, Doordash, LinkedIn and Nuro and multiple YC companies acquired

Insight was originally (2018-19) an answer engine doctors could use for complex clinical queries, kind of like OpenEvidence or ChatGPT do today, but before the tech was quite ready. Nevertheless, we had 1M DAUs and 10M downloads.

For distribution, we pivoted to build the first extensible browser for iOS. Extensions for Insight and it's sister app Hyperweb for Safari can be built directly on the phone and enable a range of applications such as ad blocking, intelligent annotations and alternatives, all delivered without the need for installing extensions and 100% on-device privacy.

I was one of 3 co-founders, fundraised (YC W19 + seed), built the product and engineering teams. Each app has an install base in the millions and was showcased by Apple, FastCo and TechCrunch amongst others.

I led the teams for Quora Spaces and Sessions. We hosted sessions with Sheryl Sandberg, Vinod Khosla, Hillary Clinton, Justin Trudeau, Yann LeCun, Hinton & Bengio, and many other experts and celebrities.

I started as a Product Designer, moved into Design leadership, PM, eventually lead a top-level product team.
