Designed a Unified Sandbox that can provide a seamless experience for merchants that use products across multiple PayPal subsidiaries.

Designed and marketed an end-to-end Real-Time Event Detection Platform as a universal capability for all PayPal use cases handling over 80 million requests daily.
Established as PayPal’s domain expert on Kafka Streams.
Designed and implemented PayPal’s third-party commerce platform which allows merchants to move and sync e-commerce data across multiple marketplaces.
Led the end-to-end development of an API that can ingest orders from any external marketplaces in order to power PayPal Shipping.

Won the 2019 API World AWS API Hackathon by implementing an image storage and retrieval platform utilizing AWS S3, Rekognition API, and React.

Identified a need to expose merchant-related data to various stakeholders/services within the PayPal architecture, i.e. Product Owners. Gained insight into PayPal data fabric and locations of vital views regarding Merchant Services products. Implemented an internal web dashboard employing a machine learning layer to provide a streamlined onboarding process for merchants joining the PayPal platform and created a REST API layer for consumption within PayPal.
Key Contributions:
Needed to understand Teradata (PayPal partner for Analytic Data Storage) data fabric and architecture which stores Merchant Services data. Initiated and facilitated data integration/extraction methodologies with the global Teradata team.
Published necessary extensive documentation on important data locations and corporate access procedures that were unknown to the team prior to investigation and thereby allowing for faster ramp up time for new hires.
Facilitated machine learning innovation initiative sparked by the Director of Commerce Solutions and helped integrate a new machine learning company acquisition to drive more innovative solutions for Merchant Services Products.
