Some of my major contributions in this regard are: --Researched and developed an automation tool (comprised of XML DOM parser and String Matching Algorithms) which converted around 2000 legacy C-IV controllers to Spring MVC controllers. Model and View objects were automatically mapped by tool to corresponding JSP's and controllers were annotated with appropriate handler mappings. The tool resulted in 30% reduction in manual effort of the entire team. --In Kansas Self-Service Portal proposed and developed a data prepopulating utility which used hashing with java collections. The utility’s prime feature was its reusability, as any addition to the dynamics of both the portals required only data base updates with no changes in code. This greatly reduced the count of database hits and other request response operations for both portals and improved the performance. My contribution towards the project was acknowledged with the highest individual award globally(ACE award) by Accenture. I was also recognized with Health and Public Services Bi-annual beacon award. ### Software Engineer @ Accenture Jan 2013 – Jan 2015 | Pune Area, India Worked as a web developer wherein we developed Kansas Eligibility Enforcement Systems, which is a new service based technology platform to integrate benefits eligibility determination across the Kansas county agencies. Developed dynamic content web pages for TOP, LIEAP, Foster Care, Child Care modules. Used spring mvc ,hibernate, DAO extensions, controller extensions to develop new screens. Worked in rules team to develop Oracle Policy Automation based rules engine with tools like Oracle Policy Modelling to carry out benefit calculations for TANF, Food Assistance and Child Care programs. We employed temporal reasoning on rules which resulted in sustaining the data on a single OPA attribute as a function of time.
