• Led cross-team initiatives to implement cloud-native fine-grained authorization (Ranger RAZ) for Cloudera AI Inference service.

• Built a distributed performance testing framework using Apache JMeter to identify performance bottlenecks in an internal authorizer with Apache Hadoop. The tests measured metrics like Throughput, RPC processing times with and without authorizer enabled for over 10 million read/write operations (with different r/w ratios) on HDFS.

• Contributed significant enhancements (20+ Jira tickets) to optimize Ranger docker builds for all Ranger services and improving integration with external systems including Apache Ozone, Impala and Trino in docker.

• Engineering owner for Ranger Usersync service, added new features to enhance functionality while actively addressing customer escalations (resolved 30+ tickets in the last 2 years).

• Developed performant REST APIs for user group management ( see RANGER-4230), the new APIs improved user group deletion performance by 133x.

• Delivered a talk on 'Unifying Access Control with Governed Data Sharing in Apache Ranger' at the Apache’s annual conference “Community Over Code North America” held in Minneapolis, Minnesota in Sept' 2025.

• Served as the Release Manager for Apache Ranger 2.6.0 and 2.7.0 releases, leading end-to-end release activities and coordinating 200+ community contributions while ensuring production readiness.

• Open-source maintainer of Apache Ranger’s official docker images on DockerHub and Python client library on PyPI.

• Contributed enhancements to optimize Docker support for Ranger services in Docker Compose environment.

• Contributed over 100 commits to the Apache Ranger project on GitHub, enhancing its functionality and performance.

• Implemented significant Docker enhancements for Ranger services, improving integration with Apache Ozone, Trino, and Impala.

• Developed performant REST APIs for user group management, streamlining operations for users.

• Established a CI/CD pipeline in GitHub, enabling comprehensive container-based testing across more than 10 services.
