Leveraging Go and ReactJS, I implemented new features from scratch on both the front-end and back-end, while optimizing and enhancing existing codebases. I worked extensively with PostgreSQL and MongoDB, writing numerous data migrations to modify and optimize stored data, significantly improving execution times. Additionally, I contributed to prototyping a mobile version of Tulip’s web app using React Native, expanding the platform’s capabilities to mobile devices. ### Medical Device Software Developer @ Intellijoint Surgical Inc. Jan 2019 – Jan 2019 | Kitchener, Canada Area At Intellijoint Surgical Inc., I worked as a medical device software developer, specializing in macOS application development to support intraoperative surgical workflows. I designed and developed a cutting-edge macOS application to relay 3D data to surgeons in real time, enhancing surgical precision and decision-making. Leveraging RxSwift and InVision, I crafted intuitive interfaces for seamless data visualization. Additionally, I engineered real-time tracking software to integrate new trackers into Intellijoint’s mini-optical navigation system, utilizing RxSwift and MATLAB to ensure high accuracy, reliability, and performance in critical surgical environments. I also helped to develop a machine learning algorithm using Python on the side that was able to diagnose a patients spinal injury based on given data from an X-Ray scan. ### Software Engineer @ DriverCheck Inc. I also shadowed a UI/UX designer and performed complex tasks using Adobe Experience Design to create and prototype several UI/UX components used within DriverCheck's main web application. ### Software Developer @ Finastra Jan 2017 – Jan 2017 | Mississauga, Ontario Worked in an agile environment, using languages such as C#, SQL and more to improve the functionality of various websites for Finastra, in addition to performing code fixes while using Coverity, a code analysis tool, to identify errors. Additionally, I created and modified several SSRS reports which were used frequently by Finastra for displaying and keeping records. ### Software Developer @ D+H Jan 2017 – Jan 2017 | Mississauga, Ontario Worked in an agile environment, using languages such as Javascript, HTML, CSS, and more to update and modernize the look and functionality of various websites for D+H.
