# Adam Doti > Design(er) Activist | Designing relationships one pixel at a time. Location: Petaluma, California, United States Profile: https://flows.cv/adamdoti As a VP/Principal Design Architect and Design Advocate at Salesforce, I am deeply committed to the art of design and its empowerment throughout the Salesforce Ecosystem. My journey as an experienced design practitioner and leader has been shaped by a unique fusion of conceptual design, fine art, and psychology. I approach leadership holistically, drawing from my personal, professional, and academic influences, resulting in a rich tapestry of insights and strategies. With 25 years of diverse experience in multi-disciplinary agencies, professional services, and product teams, I've had the privilege of working across consumer, enterprise, and public-sector domains. My time at Salesforce has been marked by leading numerous internal and external cross-organizational projects during a period of rapid growth. From enhancing community experiences to innovating new products, from shaping comprehensive design strategies to crafting meticulous design systems, I find my greatest joy in connecting the dots across organizations and translating big-picture visions into pixel-perfect precision. My passion lies in weaving together the often-overlooked elements that serve people, products, and the planet. Before joining Salesforce, I played roles as a User Experience Specialist for the U.S. Department of Defense, a User Experience Architect and Practice Manager at OpenText Corp/Vignette, a creative artist at M5 Industries, and a Creative Director in PR and advertising. Beyond the design world, I'm an avid adventurer who thrives on exploring the wilderness and pushing the boundaries of human physical and mental endurance. Let's connect and embark on this exciting journey of design, innovation, and discovery together. ## Work Experience ### VP, Design Systems & UX Foundations @ Salesforce Jan 2023 – Present | San Francisco Bay Area Designing and building the next-generation Salesforce Design System. ### VP / Principal Design Architect, Designer Relations @ Salesforce Jan 2019 – Jan 2023 | San Francisco, California, United States Leading design for Salesforce Experience; an effort to establish a design eco-system supported by design curriculum, design evangelism, and career opportunities; building a culture and community of design internally and externally; defining and building a practice around Relationship Design. ### Product Design Architect / Product Owner @ Salesforce Jan 2016 – Jan 2019 | San Francisco, California, United States Designing and building experiences that make people more successful, productive, and happy.
