Transitioned from an Angular 1.3x based app to Mithril JS, increasing application performance and team velocity significantly. Worked cross functionally with backend engineering and product teams to achieve near feature parity with API and command line clients. Developed a visual component library to enable fast iteration and prototyping of new features. Incorporated D3 and Mithril libraries for dynamic SVG metrics dashboards. Increased the company's message delivery rate by several orders of magnitude by asynchronously analyzing, aggregating and filtering outbound messages (Email, Twitter, FB). Spiked on implementations using Cassandra, Titan, and AWS MapR. Production implementation was ultimately Ruby/SideKiq and Postgres, and was able to sustainably process up to millions of messages an hour for an active user base of several million.
