Frontend focused developing core application features and pages ### Senior Software Engineer @ JPMorganChase Jan 2025 – Jan 2026 | Palo Alto, California, United States • Led development of the Decision Details Dashboard, a full stack web application for querying and understanding decisions made in the risk engine. Created a project plan, led team members in development, engaged in thorough testing and completed an on time production launch of a new web application and backend service (React, GraphQL, Typescript, Java, AWS, Jest, Cypress) • Built the Rule Authoring UI, a frontend web application which allows for users to create, edit, save drafts, duplicate and disable rules about payments and transactions as well as place those rules into rulesets. Project was so well received it become the first in a suite of applications known as the Fraud Shield Dashboard (React, Apollo, Typescript, CSS) • Contributed to the development of the VISION UI library, a component library for projects across multiple teams at JPMC. Created generic reusable components that could be utilized in numerous applications and consolidated existing components to ensure consistency among webpages and accelerate changes as multiple applications scale ### Software Engineer @ JPMorganChase Jan 2023 – Jan 2025 | Palo Alto, California, United States Software Engineer for JPMC's payments platform, building tooling to help businesses combat fraud in their online payments ### Software Engineering Consultant: Full Stack @ Integrated Healthcare Association Jan 2021 – Jan 2023 | Oakland, California, United States Integrated Healthcare Association (IHA) is a nonprofit organization that aims to improve the healthcare system by aggregating health data and providing incentive structures for physician organizations to improve their overall quality of care, among other programs. • Built the Measure Metadata Service, a cross team synchronization platform powered by a web client with API integration (React, Redux, Django, REST) to browse, create, search and update millions of rows of data • Spearheaded IHA’s Atlas release, implementing features and updates for health data across California (https://atlas.iha.org/) • Maintain critical updates to IHA's Align. Measure. Perform. (AMP) program, ensuring functionality and security • Led IHA's transition to Amazon Redshift based data enclave for AMP reporting in 2022 and on: architected infrastructure to enable data ingestion, reporting and analysis using SQL while integrating with existing APIs ### Software Engineer @ Palantir Technologies Jan 2020 – Jan 2021 • Designed, developed and implemented multiple user features for Palantir’s premier mapping application, Gaia, used for mission planning and operations worldwide • Improved software experience by simplifying user feedback, expanding system architecture to support more granular control, and creating new functionality which streamlined common use cases • Developed strong frontend web development skills using Typescript, React, Redux and other modern web development technologies ### Data Science and Product R&D Intern @ Eko Jan 2019 – Jan 2019 | Berkeley • Authored research abstract as part of a study with Mayo Clinic on utilizing AI and ML to analyze ECG signal for detection of heart failure; https://www.abstractsonline.com/pp8/#!/7891/presentation/30574 • Designed and built prototype of next generation digital stethoscope by integrating an accelerometer with a time synced data stream into software flow • Created software to analyze new accelerometer data together with patient ECG signal, enabling novel diagnoses through location prediction using dynamic time warping ### Data Science Intern @ Eko Jan 2018 – Jan 2018 • Developed CNN machine learning models and training data to predict ECG signal quality from the Eko DUO • Integrated ML models into iOS platform using CoreML, enabling real time user feedback on device signal quality • This novel application feature enabled a new automated software platform called “Eko Home” which allows DUO to be used by patients in addition to clinicians and is now integrated into Eko’s main application suite ### Robotics and Programming Instructor @ iD Tech Camps Jan 2017 – Jan 2017 | Moraga, California ## Education ### Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science University of Southern California Jan 2016 – Jan 2020 ## Contact & Social - LinkedIn: https://linkedin.com/in/adamrideout - Website: https://adamrideout.net --- Source: https://flows.cv/adamrideout JSON Resume: https://flows.cv/adamrideout/resume.json Last updated: 2026-03-29
