Having spent several years developing our subscription and billing platform as an engineer, I was able to bring deep technical expertise to help navigate new challenges as Hulu's business became increasingly complex in light of new product offerings and partnerships. I helped drive many of Hulu's key monetization initiatives as a Product Manager including The Disney Bundle, annual subscriptions, and new partnerships with Verizon, T-Mobile, and Comcast. I also championed Platform Modernization, an initiative to shift execution from vertical campaigns to horizontal platform capabilities to better execute on long-term goals. ### Lead Software Engineer - Payments and Billing @ Hulu Jan 2016 – Jan 2019 | Los Angeles, California, United States I joined Hulu as the sixth engineer on the Payments team. That team grew and multiplied into 80+ engineers across several teams before I transitioned into Product. I led many of Hulu's key monetization initiatives, including Live TV, subscription bundles with Spotify and Sprint, and payment partnerships with device partners like Apple, Google, Roku, and Amazon, and helped scale our payment processing pipeline for millions of monthly subscribers. I was the go-to person for both technical and non-technical questions about the subscription lifecycle and billing domains, and eventually transitioned into Product Management to help drive our platform strategy. ### Software Engineer II and Agile Coach - Security and Integrations @ Appian Corporation Jan 2014 – Jan 2016 | Reston, Virginia, United States Appian develops business process management and workflow software for large enterprises across financial services, life sciences, and public sector.
