Modified Dataframe-js join method in combination with the Dataframe object to read and manipulate SQL data for the development of a tool that mimics SQL joins locally, allowing users to preview SQL joins without querying the database. Implemented TypeScript for its static typing to reduce development errors when passing data and scaling the application, ensuring that table rendering is predictable and without error, and has improved readability. Developed an Electron app with Express/Node.js to access the local machine while supporting cross-platform compatibility and leveraged React to build a dynamic and responsive user experience with the security of an Electron desktop app. Leveraged React’s responsive and efficient rendering allowing users to visualizatize and easily switch between dynamic and reusable components without triggering unnecessary element re-renders on the DOM.
