Hey! I'm a software engineer with a focus on web development and backend engineering. I've worked mostly at early-stage startups, most recently for Isometric Technologies, a data analytics startup in the logistics space.

I'm a full-stack engineer with deep experience working across the entire web application stack—from backend architecture to frontend interfaces, infrastructure automation to production observability. I specialize in building and scaling modern web applications using technologies like Kubernetes, Ruby on Rails, and React.
I’ve led and contributed to projects that span monolithic systems, distributed microservices, and cloud-native platforms. My work often sits at the intersection of product velocity and technical resilience. I take pride in shipping reliable, maintainable software that supports business goals while staying mindful of system health and developer experience.
On the backend, I’ve spent years working with Ruby on Rails, architecting APIs, background job systems, and multi-tenant applications. I'm comfortable making pragmatic decisions in legacy codebases as well as laying the groundwork for greenfield systems. From domain modeling to performance tuning to writing Rake tasks for data migrations, I bring a practical and product-minded approach to backend development.
On the frontend, I work primarily with React, building modular and testable UI components. I'm comfortable implementing complex interfaces, wiring up state management, and bridging the gap between product design and frontend code. I value design systems, consistency, and accessibility, and I strive to keep interfaces intuitive and responsive.

At audiome.io, I led full-stack development for an early-stage audio platform, taking the product from initial concept through private beta. The responsibilities for each task were end-to-end, from conception, planning, implementation, testing, and review.
On the frontend, I designed and implemented a responsive, user-friendly interface using React and TailwindCSS. I focused on creating a clean, intuitive user experience that worked seamlessly across devices, while ensuring rapid iteration as product requirements evolved.
On the backend, I built a Flask-based REST API from the ground up, architecting endpoints to support user authentication, audio processing workflows, and content management. I designed the PostgreSQL schema to support flexible data modeling and maintain long-term scalability, and deployed the backend to Heroku with clear environment separation for staging and production.
I also managed all infrastructure and deployment, leveraging Heroku for application hosting, database provisioning, and CI/CD. This allowed the team to iterate quickly and maintain a high velocity during early development cycles.
Beyond engineering, I collaborated directly with early users and potential investors, running demo sessions, gathering product feedback, and helping shape the direction of the platform. I supported the private beta launch and maintained feedback loops between stakeholders and the product roadmap.
This role demanded versatility and ownership across the entire stack and lifecycle—from idea to implementation to external communication. It sharpened my ability to balance speed with sound engineering, and reinforced the importance of clear product goals paired with a lean, focused technical approach.
