Project: OMS Services
Team: Amazon Ads
OMS is a homegrown Order Management System which will eventually replace Operative for Managed Display Ads Business. Order Management System in an abstract term means a place where users can go to create/edit/optimize their campaigns and orders along with other functionalities like pricing, approval workflows, forecasting, booking, auditing, billing, etc. The architecture underpins a multi-billion-dollar sales-led advertising pipeline.
Led the end-to-end migration of a $300MM+ global podcast advertising business onto OMS across 7 international markets, owning the data migration approach, publisher product separation, and the event notifications needed to keep downstream systems in sync.
Built programmatic targeting across device, geo, audience, and daypart, now supporting 14,000+ deals worldwide and contributing to $500MM+ in annual programmatic revenue, while keeping evaluation latency under 100ms even with complex targeting combinations.
Wrote system designs and created reusable integration patterns with ad-serving, pricing, and forecasting systems, which made it easier and faster to onboard new publisher workflows.
Built and scaled Java and Spring Boot services that power campaign and order management in OMS, with a strong focus on reliability and clean, easy-to-use APIs.
Took features from idea to production. Design (HLD/LLD), build, testing, and release. Helping improve stability and reduce day-to-day operational noise for partner teams.
Worked closely with product, publisher, and partner engineering teams to ship capabilities across multiple markets on tight timelines.
Improved operational health through better testing, monitoring, and AWS integrations, which reduced production issues in a high-volume ads workflow.
