Google Cloud Security: Designed and led the implementation of a new service (KMS Autokey) in Cloud Security in order to reduce the toil in creating a CryptoKey to protect resources stored on Google Cloud.

• Created a new microservice to persist geospatial metadata at Compass. Worked on a data migration project to migrate GeoSpatial metadata from a central datastore to the new GeoSpatial metadata database built using AWS Aurora RDS.

• Improved the timeliness for Geospatial data updates in the data pipeline from 2-3 weeks to less than 12 hours using the Kafka messaging system.

• As a software engineer in the Geospatial Team, worked on ingesting schools data into our internal database using Python and created API endpoints in Java for external teams to get the data.

• Designed & implemented a new microservice in Java for assignment of schools and school districts to listings.

• Added ability to select neighborhoods on a map for NYC by creating multi hierarchy information for boroughs/neighborhoods. Created recursive database queries that could support dynamic levels of hierarchy.

• As a software engineer in the Ad serving team for the Demand Side Platform, worked on a critical feature to upload video ads asynchronously into the ads platform using Kafka. Worked on other major features such as adding ability to ingest new ad formats into the platform.

• Worked on creating API’s in Java for the Yahoo Finance Premium product.
