As a software engineer on the cloud team at Dgraph Labs, I implemented features and automations to manage the ever-evolving Dgraph kubernetes infrastructure which is spread across several global clusters and availability zones in test and production environments. In addition, I also contributed to the improvement and maintenance of the Dgraph Cloud frontend experience. I have previous experience as a software engineer at ITHAKA, where I worked on the backend and frontend of JSTOR.org, an online knowledge platform for academic institutions and libraries. I implemented new features and bug fixes in Java Data pipelines on the Ingest Backend team, as well as making improvements to JSTOR's UI/UX. I have a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Michigan College of Engineering, where I completed several projects (As solo endeavors as well as in a collaborative team) in web development, databases, computer vision and virtual/augmented reality technology. ## Work Experience ### Software Engineer @ Stealth Startup Jan 2023 – Present | San Francisco - Designed a MVP for a marketplace for healthtech products - Built a web application using Typescript and Next.js to add new users and organizations to the marketplace database. ### Software Engineer @ Dgraph Labs Jan 2022 – Jan 2023 | San Francisco Bay Area As part of small, high-velocity startup that develops the next generation of Graph database-as-a-service with AI vector embeddings: - Designed and implemented an observability stack using Kube-Prometheus Helm Charts, with additional components like Grafana, AlertManager and Thanos to improve metrics and logging across various Dgraph clusters and availability zones. - Co-developed a CI/CD pipeline and autoscaler for testing (open-source and internal) Dgraph DB, Dgraph Lambda and Badger across ARM/x86 architectures using GitHub actions, AWS EC2 instances, and python scripts. - Automated the deployment of new build images to respositories like DockerHub and ECR, enhancing the reliability and tractability of our code releases. - Gained significant experience with AWS cloud practices, instance management, and infrastructure-as- code integration using Terraform. - Implemented features to overhaul the Dgraph Cloud User experience such as the sign-in page and billing experience using React JS. ### Software Engineer @ ITHAKA Jan 2021 – Jan 2022 | Ann Arbor, Michigan, United States Backend role on INGEST team which handles content processing and publishing on JSTOR.org(An online documents & arts platform and digital archive for academic institutions and libraries), which involves: - Gained experience with coding, testing, and deploying Java and Python applications that run a publishing pipeline.
