As a solution, SaveSavvy, a multi-platform application that helps meet these budgeting needs of college students was prototyped. This application allows users to input daily expenses and presents them with an information circle graph on the home screen along with more detailed insights underneath. Some additional features on SaveSavvy include a community tab and daily notifications that give users tips on budgeting. ### UX Designer & Researcher @ University of California, Santa Cruz Jan 2023 – Jan 2023 After completing literature review and finding limited information on people’s tendencies to accumulate unnecessary items at home, a survey was sent out to gain additional insight into idling capacity and hoarding tendencies. From the insights, Library of Things was created, a mobile application that allows users to lend or borrow from their community’s idling capacity at local libraries. From user insights, it was gathered that in the new digital age, most people rarely go to the library anymore and therefore there is plenty of extra space at local libraries that can be used for the community to lend or borrow from each other’s idling capacity. This would solve two problems: extra unused space in libraries, and unused items in people’s homes. It was found that users would prefer to borrow items they will only use once or twice, and as a solution to idling capacity, unused library space, and to promote overall sustainable life choices, Library of Things was created — allowing a seamless checkout flow for users looking to quickly lend an item locally. ### UX Designer & Researcher @ University of California, Santa Cruz Jan 2023 – Jan 2023 TerraByte, a gamified application developed in a Hackathon, promotes and rewards sustainable life choices from its users while educating them on making ecofriendly changes to their daily routine. Completing lessons or reducing daily carbon footprint rewards users with points that can be used towards customizing their avatar, among other incentives. ### Financial Services Assistant @ California School Employees Association Jan 2021 – Jan 2022 | San Jose, California, United States Responsible for organizing, updating, and finalizing payments from employees at different chapters within California ### Research Assistant @ UC Santa Barbara Jan 2020 – Jan 2021 | Goleta, California, United States Assisted graduate students and faculty with neuroscience and human behavior related experiments.
