♦ Specifying: Break down complex manuals into logical if/then language: pseudo-programming
♦ Testing: Benefits run through a series of tests in order to monitor that the proper coding is maintained
♦ Maintenance: Every program needs to be reviewed to reflect the constantly changing eligibility criteria
♦ Reporting: Using a combination of SQL, Excel and statistical software (specifically R and SPSS) to compose complex queries, statistical regressions and general data analysis.
