Ad Brand Safety Team - Collaborated with Twitch's Safety team on the biggest cross-functional engineering initiative to launch Content Classification Label (CCL) Enforcement, enhancing Twitch’s brand's advertising safety rating. - The CCL Enforcement Service is a Golang Lambda that talks to a AWS Fargate Service backed by DynamoDB and a Kinesis stream to receive real time user reports. Ad Fraud Team - Successfully reduced fraudulent ad traffic on Twitch by over 50% within six months through targeted experiments and new data pipeline infrastructure. - Created a CDK library that was used throughout Twitch for spinning up Airflow clusters. Wrote python based DAGs to develop heuristic based models to detect fraudulent users and IP and block them. Ad Privacy Team - Tech lead for the implementation of the Transparency & Consent Framework (TCF) for Twitch, aligning with EU's GDPR requirements. This project was essential for the continuation of Twitch's advertising business in the EU, safeguarding against potential fines exceeding $100M. - Lead multiple projects to integrate new 3rd party vendors for user consent management at Twitch, unlocking new deals for Twitch varying from $12-16M per quarter. - The Consent service is a Golang based service hosted on AWS Lambda backed with DynamoDB and a Kinesis stream. The front-end banner and dialog box is a typescript React component that talks to the Consent service via a GraphQL layer.
