Built features such as waitlisting, auto approve/deny, a check-in app, among others, to simplify the event management process for sales employees at Microsoft. ### Software Engineering Intern @ Microsoft Jan 2019 – Jan 2019 | Redmond, WA Worked on building a platform that enables data scientists and analysts to set up and deploy production-ready ML models efficiently and at scale, reducing deployment timeline significantly. ### Software Developer @ Epson Canada Jan 2018 – Jan 2019 | Markham, ON Worked in the Imaging Algorithms Group on the development of 3D object detection and pose estimation algorithms to aid factory robots in assembling parts. Utilized Python and C++ to develop and optimize a tool that does mass data capture of factory parts in order to test and evaluate the performance of the algorithms at a large scale. Developed software that automated the evaluation process using terabyte-scale datasets, resulting in 10x more thorough testing and saving more than 10 hours of developer time per week. ### Co-Founder @ StayGo Technologies Jan 2017 – Jan 2018 StayGo develops technologies that help institutions make informed decisions about how to manage their facilities. Our first focus is gyms, where we use real-time positioning and user trend analysis to provide insights to gym managers about how their facilities are being used. We have been awarded $14,000 in funding by the University of Toronto's Entrepreneurship Hatchery. ### Research Assistant @ Toronto Rehabilitation Institute Jan 2017 – Jan 2017 | Toronto, Canada Area Worked at the Adaptive Neurorehabilitation Systems Lab led by Dr. José Zariffa. My research focuses on developing technologies that help restore upper limb function after neurological injuries such as spinal cord injury. I worked on sensors based on computer vision algorithms applied to recordings from wearable cameras (egocentric video), with the goal of tracking how often the user is engaging in functional hand use. The completed project will provide clinicians with valuable information that helps them develop more effective, adaptive and responsive rehabilitation programs. I was awarded the Undergraduate Summer Research Fellowship by UofT's Faculty of Applied Science and Engineering. ### Site Engineer Intern @ MAG International Electromechanical Works Jan 2016 – Jan 2016 | Dubai, U.A.E. Reformed and proposed designs for cable network layout on residential floors, as well as the arrangement of the L.V. Room which stores the main distribution boards of the building. Examined and verified the power load schedule, ensure they match power layout drawings and revise bill of quantities accordingly.
