Figure is a fintech startup transforming the trillion–dollar financial services industry using blockchain. The company has unveiled a series of fintech firsts across its Marketplace, Lending, and Payments verticals.

• Role included hands-on design, design management, and design operations.

• Lead the design of Figure Marketplace, Figure Equity Solutions, Figure Lending, and Figure wallet.

• Managed a team of 7 product designers across 7 pods. Achieved multiple successful product and feature launches in partnership with cross functional collaborators.

• Set benchmarks for quality UX/UI, research, and design systems practices by establishing various Design Operations frameworks, hands-on design and coaching, frequent feedback and work-share meetings, and organizing external learning opportunities for the team.

• Grew design team by hiring 4 top designers. Created end-to-end design recruitment process working with internal and external recruiters. Created design career coaching frameworks and up-leveled direct reports.

• Lead the revamp of Figure Marketplace, gaining 2.7X increase in user accounts, to 5,000+ AIs and 4X amount of capital raised on the platform.

• Lead design and strategy of 2 complex multi-dashboard financial softwares from 0-1 and beyond. Product include Figure Equity Solutions (Cap table management) and Marketplace (Investment marketplace and management).

• Managed a talented team of product designers with a focus to simplify complex financial data to deliver delightful and user-friendly experiences across web and mobile app platforms.

• Designed 200+ workflows and features. Shepherded research, user studies, UX/UI design, prototyping, and design systems implementations. Increased cross-functional teams output by identifying and solving for systematic gaps and blindspots apparent in startup environments. Simplified complex multi-user workflows to deliver intuitive and end-to-end customer-focused experiences.

• $4.7B raised and managed on ecosystem. 100+ clients signed to MVP 18 months post project start. Internal cap table migration 8 months post project start.
