I'm interested in fashion tech companies that are solving real problems for real people, not extracting value from existing systems. Before this, I connected underprivileged artisans to global markets through Khwaish Shop and worked on product design at social impact organizations. I’ve collected and structured tuition, admissions, and program data for over 500 U.S. colleges to power the platform’s backend, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for students navigating complex choices. Alongside that, I’ve generated and organized digital image assets for each college to be used across the platform and website. I also collaborate with the product and design teams to test new features, refine user flows, and help improve how information is visually presented. This role has allowed me to blend data, research, and creative thinking to build something that makes higher education more transparent and student-friendly. ### Product Design Engineer @ Microsoft Jan 2024 – Jan 2025 | Taipei Leading a team to design and deliver an AI-driven educational video production software in collaboration with Microsoft and MediaTek. Managed project timelines, resources, and stakeholder relationships to develop a functional prototype that streamlined video creation for educators, reducing production time by 70%. Played a key role in both overseeing project execution and contributing to the software design, ensuring a seamless user experience. ### Consultant @ 180 Degrees Consulting Minerva Jan 2025 – Jan 2025 As a Consultant at 180 Degrees Consulting (Minerva Chapter), I worked with the International Talent Academy (ITA), a nonprofit dedicated to expanding access to arts education for underserved youth. Alongside a global team of student consultants, I conducted market and competitor research and helped design an outreach strategy to improve ITA’s business model. I also contributed to building a donor pitch deck and visual materials to support long-term engagement. Worked closely with diverse teams and community organizations to develop an AI-powered platform, using personal stories and AI-generated visuals to challenge biases and amplify the voices of marginalized groups. ### Member Board of Directors @ Taleem Sab Kay Liye Jan 2021 – Jan 2022 | Karāchi, Sindh, Pakistan I consulted the executive members of the organization for all their events and projects to ensure successful execution in line with their mission statement. I trained 90+ employees with necessary corporate skills such as communications, event management, financing, marketing, etc. I also actively approved various documentation required for their events such as Project Plans, Memorandum of Agreement, and Understanding. I advocated for their rights in front of the administration and acted as a liaison between the employees and the administration. Together, we executed a total of 35+ projects and events aimed at making education accessible to underprivileged individuals. I trained 90+ employees with necessary corporate skills such as communications, event management, financing, marketing, etc. I also actively approved various documentation required for their events such as Project Plans, Memorandum of Agreement, and Understanding. I advocated for their rights in front of the administration and acted as a liaison between the employees and the administration. Together, we executed a total of 40+ projects and events aimed at women empowerment such as financial literacy seminars for women, animal rights, and orphan rights. We collaborated with Pakistan International Airlines and various other organizations to create long-lasting projects for orphans such as giving them career counseling and animal rights such as organizing vaccination drives for stray dogs in Karachi´s underdeveloped areas. ### Teaching Assistant @ Nixor College Jan 2021 – Jan 2022 | Karāchi, Sindh, Pakistan I was the only TA for Art and Design in my college to help students with their portfolio construction for CAIE and taught skills like drawing painting, and art writing. I also managed the administration tasks such as taking attendance, maintaining deadlines for everyone, etc. Additionally, I also worked on a research project on eastern artists being influenced by western art. ### Chief Communications Officer (CCO) @ Meri Bhi Aik Khwaish Hai Jan 2020 – Jan 2021 | Karāchi, Sindh, Pakistan I overlooked the entire communications department and actively helped the marketing, and finance departments to ensure the successful execution of various events and projects for the underprivileged communities. I trained a volunteer database of 200+ individuals with communication department skills such as email writing, meeting minutes, and intra/inter-organization communication.
