Full-stack engineer on a lean team maintaining and evolving a high-traffic education platform (44m+ annual unique visitors). Developed and maintained core user-facing features, internal tooling and technical infrastructure, often in collaboration with external stakeholders.

- Built and maintained data modules across states, modernized registration and email flows, and contributed to cross-platform UI/UX improvements.

- Co-led backend-heavy development of a personalized AI-powered school search experience, integrating OpenAI APIs with OpenSearch to surface semantic and keyword-based results.

- Integrated GrowthBook to support experimentation; implemented and managed multiple A/B tests in partnership with external researchers (Notre Dame, Movoto).

- Designed and delivered a data model allowing users to submit and group multiple school reviews, refactoring existing logic and migrating legacy data.

- End-to-end development of an announcements feature with Django and React/Redux, utilizing Pusher to dispatch and receive newly-created alerts in real-time.
