I direct the long-term design vision and strategy for critical Snowsight data features, including Data Pipelines, Ingestion, and Lakehouse UX. Leading a team focused on delivering high craft and technical feasibility, we translate complex flows into intuitive interfaces that directly optimize the work of highly technical users, driving design exploration across core integrations and AI enhanced interfaces (such as observability and canvas-based pipeline authoring). As a member of the extended Design Leadership Team, I develop and implement strategic initiatives to evolve the design practice by leveraging new tool adoption and flexible delivery flows, effectively blurring the traditional lines of PM, Design, and Engineering to scale our impact across the organization.

Led the Data Experience team, a +10 person team of designers and full stack engineers. Responsible for identifying and understanding user and business needs and delivering critical internal applications that satisfy the productivity needs of data users at Netflix. The suite of apps enable both expert and novice data users through data discovery, governance and security, pipelines and orchestration, and interactive querying with browser based software.

Partnered with the marketing and communications engineering team to build a responsive design system for corporate web properties. I led the team in identifying and producing common design elements and components, which created a cohesive user experience and development process across all products. I also participated in and drove strategy for various ongoing projects, which required workshop facilitation, competitive analysis, and stakeholder alignment.

Designed the Crew Dragon's touchscreen displays, which astronauts use to monitor mission status and vehicle telemetry during flight. This involved hands-on work to establish a first-of-its-kind design specification for the unique conditions of space travel, such as touch targets that are easy to use with astronaut gloves and legibility during extreme screen vibration. I also created and presented wireframes and designs to Crew Dragon astronauts, NASA, and SpaceX stakeholders, created simulation materials for testing, and helped to prioritize design and engineering efforts to align with key program milestones.

Designed the Event Creation product experience. I partnered with in-house design and research teams to optimize user flows and incorporate new features. These features included event listing design and layout controls within a responsive web product. I also created concepts, wireframes, user flows, and screen designs for a socially driven event discovery iOS mobile app. Finally, I presented my design work and concepts to internal leadership and a company board member.
