• Designed and developed a net new end-to-end medicare platform replacing all the legacy apps with spring boot microservices including development of membership connect (customer registration), integrated with EPIC’s health connect (membership and clinical data) and with other modules like billing, clinical and out of network healthcare providers.
• The membership applications service more than 20 million customers and process more than 100 million individual requests everyday of files up to few GBs in size.
• Setup Oracle Golden gate replication for DB redundancy.
• Designed and developed “Configopedia” application as a personal initiative to help the production support team validate deployments and debug 500+ individual microservices and manage their configurations enabling cost savings of ~4 million dollars annually.
• Designed and developed crosswalk, a directory application to manage ~1 million mappings of keywords used by different customers across different regions and medicare providers.

• Led a four-member development team to design and develop the Membership Application Gateway (implementation of Obamacare Exchanges) using spring boot running on IBM BlueMix PaaS processing ~1 million requests processed per day and supporting ~12 million customers.
• Designed and developed a cloud native application using spring boot microservices to speed up policy delivery to customers and brokers bringing down delivery time from a few days to few seconds.
• Designed and developed the xPression application to create workflow tasks by analyzing user data from 3rd party vendors and enabled customer intel and insights for field agents in a timely manner. It triggered appropriate workflows based on the product sold. This decreased the turnaround time to register and onboard a customer by 70%
• Designed and developed the migration from mainframe to java web services and performed database modeling to integrate the web services to OSB/BPEL middleware leading to a major productivity bump of 60% in change request handling. Ran impact analysis to ensure full coverage of original functionality.
• Designed and developed the solution to integrate with the PLPR system to enable collection (70k images/second) , storage, distribution and viewing of the railway assets, track defects, geometry data, media (video + metadata) footage and trigger workflows to get the data analyzed by the track section managers on the ground in near real time.
