I have 10 years of experience developing consumer and developer-facing products.

I have four years of experience developing Android applications professionally. I developed several Android applications from the ground up that have received over 4 stars and tens of thousands of installations.

At Robosoft, I was a technical product owner/team lead responsible for writing the base architecture of mobile apps, feature implementations, tracking and conveying delivery timelines to stakeholders, and delegating tasks to team members.

For the past 5 years at CARFAX, I have spent my time expanding my technical expertise and enforcing fundamentals such as clean code and test-driven development. I have actively built and maintained:
   - backend services using SpringBoot Java and Kotlin
   - serverless components on AWS using such lambda, API Gateway, and SNS
   -  management portals using React and MobX
   - infrastructure as code using aws-cdk in typescript
   - batch data processing applications using SpringBoot, Kotlin, and AWS Fargate
   - Identity and access management for consumer-facing apps using Auth0 SDK and react.js
- rewritten the android application using jetpack compose, room, dagger hilt, and other state of the art android frameworks 

Along with building and maintaining products, I troubleshoot and solve production issues, perform load-testing and smoke-testing before deploying high SLA product components, peer-review code, and onboard new team members.

Implemented several endpoints of a RESTful API service that reduced the service call round trip time significantly

Created Event Driven Fargate task that converted parquet file records to dynamo db records. The task parsed and wrote ~4.5 million records 

Developed micro-service using REST principles (hypermedia) with springboot and kotlin. This helped decouple dependencies between consumers of this service and the service itself. 

Contributed to the development of wrapper framework around aws cdk, for implementing standardization around cloud components across company. This helped reduce lines of code involved in creating cloud components and avoid implementations that are not desired (such as public s3 buckets, unencrypted buckets, etc)
