I hold my roots from the beautiful city of Mumbai situated in Western India. Moving from one city to another, I don’t miss home much since its all the same to me. Crowded trains, trashy roads, food trucks and unknown neighbors, what’s not to love. On a professional note, I started my career in Software Engineering! I worked for a fin-tech company called Indus Valley Partners (India) Pvt. Ltd. Just like the standard name, the work was pretty standard too, and a year into it, I realised this wasn’t something I wanted to pursue in life as a career path, so I took the pivot and moved to the United States After successfully completing my Masters in Human Computer Interaction (with a pretty dope GPA) I began my career in Product Design with a few early gigs in Mango Concept and Lexody LLC. Mango Concept was another agency, while Lexody was a language learning applicaiton (imagine Tinder for Language learning). After these early gigs I landed my opportunity at Perpetual and I’m here ever since. On a personal note, I enjoy reading fiction, drinking coffee and contemplating on which bagel is better everything or garlic! I’d love to chat over coffee! ## Work Experience ### Senior Product Designer @ Perpetual Jan 2021 – Present | New York, New York, United States • Leading Product Design efforts for Quattr, an analytics platform tracking website traffic, SEO performance, Site Speed and thereby providing recommendations to customers on improvements and changes to be made to increase websites search index amongst competitors. • Leading Product Design efforts for Break the Love, an online Tennis community, which connects aspiring and professional Tennis Players with coaches, events, other players. Built their design system from the ground up and leveraged atomic design principles to maintain Break the Love’s component library. ### Product Designer @ Perpetual Jan 2018 – Jan 2021 | Greater New York City Area • Serving as Gatekeeper for Star2Star’s Design Team in maintaining their Design System & Component Library and also ensuring consistency of components across Star2Star’s Suite of Products and Services. • Lead Product Design efforts for leading brands such as Colgate, Thomson Reuters, Patch, Unpakt and Flatrate! • Worked with stakeholders to gather requirements, generate user flows, develop experiences, specified exit criteria & worked with developers on biproxi.com, a commercial real-estate platform for buyers, brokers & tenants. ### Product Designer @ Lexody Jan 2017 – Jan 2017 | Greater New York City Area • Developed the UI for Lexody’s website, a startup for language learners to meet up in person and practice speaking. • Designed the UX & programmed the front-end experience of Lexody’s e-commerce platform, from ideation till final release ### UX Designer @ Mango Concept Jan 2017 – Jan 2017 | Greater New York City Area • Analyzed, researched and user-tested an attribute-based reviewing model for HoozeOn an app targeting local businesses. • Actively contributed to the inception of ‘Protothon’, a hackathon to strengthen design thinking and solve real-world problems. ### Consultant - Web Publishing @ New York University - Information Technology Jan 2015 – Jan 2017 | Greater New York City Area • Designed the Prototype for the New York University's Web Publishing Team Page • Assisted in managing the Knowledge Base of the Web Publishing Team • Designed the Z-Fold handout, which is to be distributed to the incoming NYU Spring 2016 students. • Vector designed the icons of Wordpress, to be used by the web publishing team. ### Associate Software Engineer @ Indus Valley Partners (India) Pvt.
