Lead the Reauth effort in Google Ads to combat hijackers, mentoring two other engineers to help implement, roll out gradually and analyze metrics. Materialized data from 6+ large data sets using MapReduce and SQL to deliver dashboards for partner teams, delivering 30+ up-to-date metrics on Ads account security. Planning and implementing a rewrite of Ads Authorization over gRPC, improving latency by 40% for 4B+ queries per day and retaining 99.99% availability via caching and parallelization. ### Software Engineer II @ Google Jan 2018 – Jan 2020 ### Software Engineering Intern @ Microsoft Jan 2018 – Jan 2018 | Redmond, Washington Investigated avenues of user engagement, wrote technical specifications and integrated additional data sources into the Timeline feature on the Windows operating system based on C and C++. Prototyped UI elements and built a recommendation model based on the new data to improve relevancy of suggestions and improve overall UX, ending in a well-executed final demo to lead engineers and executives. ### Co-Founder, Lead Engineer @ Flute Systems Inc. Jan 2017 – Jan 2018 | Toronto, Canada Area Flute Systems is a small development team of fresh graduates and senior university students. We discussed upcoming ideas with emerging non-profits and startups at TheHub located at the University of Toronto.
