Validate and design control systems, process flows, and control panel layouts for new and existing projects and equipment. 2. Design and review electrical schematics and assist with hardware selection and architecture. Translate functional requirements to system configuration. 3. Develop the vision, complex robot pathing, and PLC programs to automate control processes. 4. Work with assembly and mechanical engineers to ensure all setups and alignments are properly completed. Create documentation and support system testing and installation. 5. Problem-solving, including the identification of risks and mitigation strategies through testing and troubleshooting. ### Automation Controls Engineer @ Bright Machines Jan 2019 – Jan 2022 | Austin, Texas 1. Design a next-generation smart automation system using Bright Robotic Cells. 2. Design and implement automation solutions, including control systems and design, connection diagrams, and other electrical schematics. 3. Collaborate on high-level system designs, lead control design reviews and factory acceptance testing. Also, work with cross-functional teams to deploy and support a successful production line. 4. Design and implement highly efficient and complex robot pathing programs using HMI programming to automate the processes using both Fanuc and Nachi Robots. 5. Develop and program complex vision systems to increase the efficiency and repeatability of the system. ### Student @ University of Maryland Jan 2017 – Jan 2019 | Maryland, USA Graduate, University of Maryland: Master of Engineering in Robotics ### Review paper on how path planning can be achieved using A*, Bezier curve and Genetic Algorithms @ University of Maryland Jan 2018 – Jan 2018 | College Park, Maryland 1. For the Planning of Autonomous Robots course, did a review paper on 3 types of path planning algorithms. 2. The topic of motion planning and path planning were discussed along with the types of algorithms. 3. Then, the focus was shifted to the 3 stated algorithms. Right from what they are, how they are used to their pseudo codes and pros and cons were all discussed. 4. Along with the basic algorithms, the modified versions of these algorithms was also discussed in detail. 5. This review paper helped me understand the concept of path planning in detail. ### Collison Avoidance using Q Learning @ University of Maryland Jan 2017 – Jan 2017 | College Park, Maryland 1. For the Robot Learning course, designed a simulation-based project using different software like Gazebo, Open AI Gym and ROS. 2. A turtlebot was used and it was navigated in the unknown environment. 3. Using Q- learning, the robot was made to learn how to traverse the unknown path without any collisions. 4. The vehicle moves around the unknown path and learns through its experience on how to move along that path without collision. 5. After the training, the bot is left to move in that environment and it traverses it with great efficiency. ### Internship @ Alpha Tocol Engineering Services Private Limited Jan 2016 – Jan 2016 Title: Industrial Exposure on how aircraft industry works • Acquired in-depth knowledge of how the process of Manufacturing of an aircraft takes place • Learnt the basic conventional machining, sheet metal and other forming processes along with the use of CNC’s machines and Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) in an aircraft industry. • Worked on various quality control checks and various assembly line productions. • Learnt the procedure on how a route card is made and to use the information depicted in them. ### Industrial Training @ FANUC India Pvt Ltd Jan 2015 – Jan 2015 Project Title: Working of Robotic Arm and CNC Machines • Learned about the working of Robotic Arms and Computer Numeric Control Machines • Gained hands-on experience that imbibed a great level of confidence • Got a really good industrial exposure that helped to visualize and implement things practically ### Summer Trainee @ Netmax Technologies Pvt.
