• Custom designed and tested Nosecone Avionics Bay, housing flight computer, GPS antennas and safety shunt switches, while minimizing weight, voltage loss between avionics and complicated integration procedures.
• Took part in the engineering design process for GTXR's 2025-26 2 stage rocket's recovery systems, optimizing impact attenuation, maximizing reliability of recovery deployment window and redundancy given space and weight constraints.
• Contributed to system-level design trade studies (rocket diameter, propellant, fin cant) optimizing for safety, integration, and redundancy.
• Oversaw and lead a team of 3 freshman in the design of the sustainer's avionics bay, teaching proper CAD etiquette, the engineering design process.
