NetDrone (Multi-drone platform with robust network) with Samsung Science & Technology Foundation
1. Part of Net-Drone project team that developed a drone fleet platform that can be utilized for improvising emergency network.
• Prototyped UI application with Flask for efficient control of drones and effective display of multiple video stream.
• Developed routing protocol for drone fleet platform by integrating Babel to maintain robust and reliable network.
2. Developed an emergency landing & autonomous take-off system for multi-copter.
• Designed emergency landing system for GPS-less environment using ROS, OpenCv and a camera module.
Content-aware video streaming with Naver Labs
1. Designed and implemented a link-aware H.264 encoding system with ROI-based variable coding rate for wireless devices.
• Developed video encoding system by integrating OpenCv and x264 to encode videos with reduced filesize.
