Worked on the Data Platform team to bring big data solutions to Samsara!

Currently working on the cloud team to help maintain and improve core infrastructure

Developed features to allow for the Etsy member services team to vet shops and listings for advertisements. Worked with Etsy’s proprietary PHP codebase, making schema and data changes to the ORM, new API resources and endpoints, and Gearman Job Workers to make large scale updates to the due dates and statuses of vetting shop inquiries.

Full scale implementation of search for the Fivestars consumer mobile app. Involved front-end implementation in React-Native, optimizations in Elastic Search microservice, updates to serialize data injected into Kafka, and load testing using Locust

Worked on many additional features and code refactoring including adding Redux to the React Native codebase, implementing internationalization/localization, and adding Jest unit testing

Worked on features in Django backend including releasing A/B test experiments for general accessibility, data and schema migrations to optimize the tag system for businesses, and storing temporary data in Redis to change the promotion flow
