I first fell in love with computer science in sixth grade when I was dragged into a Scratch club.
Spearheaded new rewards program using Java Spring Boot, React Native, Rust, and GraphQL to allow users to accrue and redeem reward points, ultimately increasing credit card usage and improving growth/retention.

Owned engineering design and integration for bonus rewards, incentivizing credit card uptake through sign-up bonuses and limited-time promotions.

Engineered backend framework supporting customizable Spring Boot caches and backing with Redis, reducing P95 latency for profile picture fetching from 550ms to 60ms and enabling easy caching for other use cases as needed.

Built infrastructure in Terraform consolidating 10+ Amazon SQS queues, each targeted by separate EventBridge schedules, into a single shared queue to facilitate a smooth integration of future CRON jobs.
Engineered sales commission app from scratch using Python, JavaScript, PostgreSQL, and XML to streamline the sales process and support flexible commissions.
