I am Albert! I am a Masters of Engineering in Computer Science student at Cornell University. I completed my undergraduate studies at Cornell and received Bachelor's in Computer Science and Mathematics. I've had the privilege to complete two internships at Meta and before that, one at Sandia National Labs. I am interested in competitive programming, compilers, and computer vision :)

Built a complete ML & CV powered pipeline that renders 3D meshes of humans reconstructed from either monocular or multiview RGB. Reconstruction is built upon the paper PIFu, and is sped up greatly with optimizations from another paper MonoPort. The pipeline includes preprocessing, like object detection to determine bounding boxes and object segmentation to generate a mask for humans. Rendering is supported by PyTorch3D.

Worked concurrently on independent projects and on a team web application as a year round intern during the summer and school year.
- Developed a MATLAB tool to process and import 3 years of experimental data into an accessible internal repository 
- Rewrote several Angular components and services to migrate front end frameworks for a large full stack application 
- Built from scratch a Vyper smart contract system to apply the Ethereum blockchain to data provenance and authority

### Software Engineer Intern @ Inara

Built upon the Ruby on Rails platform to implement two features critical to Inara's minimum viable product, using Hedera Distributed Ledger technology. Managed other interns by assigning tasks and determining direction of work. Engaged dozens of authors and readers with demos in preparation of a testing phase.

### Software Engineer Intern @ ExXothermic

Enabled ExXothermic's product's use in lucrative high-volume scenarios by creating a stress test, to ensure its ability to handle more than 10,000 clients. The stress test is built from Python, uses Flask as a dynamic web interface, and captures and analyzes packets with socket programming.
