One of my key responsibilities is overseeing and managing the various sub-teams that work on a wide variety of projects. These projects require us to work with a diverse range of tech stacks, including HTML, CSS, Next.Js, React, Serverless, Supabase, Firebase, MongoDB, AWS, NodeJs, Python, and more. Beyond managing the team, I also take on a mentoring and training role for students who are interested in learning more about tech. We regularly conduct team meetings to plan out our work and ensure that we are on track to meet our goals. Additionally, I hold review meetings with our designers to provide feedback on their work and ensure that everything we produce is of the highest quality. One of our proudest accomplishments has been building our own blog and event management system from scratch. This system includes a QR-based check-in process and participant monitoring for our workshops. In addition, we have created several backend APIs and serverless functions to automate many of the tasks involved in running our club. We have also developed our own project management and participant connect systems to help connect developers and project makers. Despite the hard work involved in these projects, our team is incredibly fun to work with. Everyone works together like cogs in a well-oiled machine, and we all take pride in the work we do.
