With a BA in Industrial Design and an MFA in Interdisciplinary Design, Alejandra is skilled in designing experiences at the intersection of digital, physical and immersive. Prior to joining Dolby Labs she led the Connected Products & Spaces team as Accenture Song's North America Industrial Design Craft Lead on a variety of projects, both physical and immersive. From research and usability testing to launching full-fledged consumer experiences and products, she is adept at overseeing all stages of the design process. With a strong focus on extended reality (XR) creative direction, Alejandra has also played a key role in the design and creation of XR experiences for immersive mediums. Alejandra got her start designing furniture and interior spaces for boutique hotels and restaurants before making her jump into tech. During my time at Forward, I lead both the Space and Industrial Design efforts creating the building blocks and design principles for the physical embodiment of the company's service. I led the design and deployment of multiple components including a prototype clinic, a fully-functional showroom, mobile showroom and the first brick and mortar locations.
