And since 2017, I've served as Head of global Design and product innovation at robot.com, a robotics company headquartered in California and Colombia, where I lead design and research development for our robotics product line where we become part of Skydeck Berkeley accelerator program from 2017 to 2019. In my role, I bridge strategic vision with technical execution—translating the CEO's roadmap into tangible products by aligning business objectives, hardware capabilities, and AI/robotics integration. This holistic approach enables me to develop industry-leading industrial designs robots, optimized for mass production, achieved through close engineering collaboration that balances innovation with global scalability. Over seven years, we've evolved from initial prototypes (Kiwibot 1.0) to advanced fourth-generation systems (Kiwibot 4.0). I lead the design of our robots and products, working on everything from early ideas and prototypes to final production. I collaborate closely with our engineering team to bring our designs to life. In the past, we led the design of Kiwibot versions 1.0 to 4.0 and beyond. Our work has won several awards, including the iF Design Award and recognition at the Ibero-American Design Biennial. Right now, we're working with teams in Silicon Valley, Colombia, and China to combine AI and hardware with partner companies. Our goal is to create products that are smart, scalable, and beautifully designed—robots that people find friendly and fun. We focus on things like robot interfaces, 3D animations, sounds, sketches, and concept models to turn ideas into real, working robots. I love turning big ideas into real robots—whether it’s a delivery robot, a robot dog, or the next generation of humanoid machines.
