Nova (formerly Polar) partners with premium publishers by providing technology solutions to grow branded content revenue. I worked with the Engineering Core team to implement new features for Nova's branded content platform, MediaVoice, with React and Django. This included developing test-driven features, such as MediaVoice's team selection for publishers, platform UI enhancements for promotional feed content, along with improving code coverage with refined unit tests with Mocha/Chai and React Test Utils ### Technical Systems Analyst @ RBC Jan 2016 – Jan 2016 | Toronto, Canada Area I was on the Global Asset Management Technology team. I helped revitalize existing web apps for mobile, giving clients more versatility with products. I also incorporated dev ops procedures with Jenkins and IBM UrbanCode to automate their development pipeline. We invited 250 hackers, mentors and sponsors to partake in a weekend of technological creativity. I helped lead and organize a team of fourteen with delegated tasks including assessing 1400 applications, logistics, marketing and sponsorship (raising $13,000 in just 2 months).
