At Chime, we process millions of transactions per day. I am building the next generation of transaction intelligence and insights across mobile, API, and backend layers on a massively distributed, horizontally scaled transactions platform that underpins core user and system flows and enables detailed, on-demand insights through large-scale aggregation and enrichment.

My work spans a modern full-stack environment, with member-facing mobile experiences built in TypeScript, APIs and backend services primarily in Ruby, and large-scale indexing and retrieval powered by OpenSearch. These systems support ingestion, aggregation, and enrichment of transaction data at scale, enabling highly engaged, insight-driven product experiences that surface timely, relevant information to members and help drive long-term engagement and retention.

In this role I led the UI development of an AI Quality Assurance platform and a Chrome extension AI co-pilot. I integrated multiple data sources into intuitive user interfaces designed to enhance productivity and automate complex tasks.

While at Slack I spent most of my time improving and refactoring our Data Retention library to be more portable, efficient, and resilient. I placed a heavy focus on improving and maintaining all of the compliance systems at Slack including Legal Holds, Data Loss Prevention, and Custom Terms of Service, among others.

Much of my work at Slack required collecting and analyzing metrics across our backend systems, onboarding and mentoring new teammates, and communicating across product teams ensuring technical decisions were visible and well understood.
