At Mach5, I used my python programming skills and taught myself the SQL language to analyze 20 million posts on Stack Exchange user forums with the goal of identifying potential new business opportunities for an enterprise software startup. I designed MySQL databases to help develop and test hypotheses about the data within the forum posts, ran queries, and reported the results to the company's management. Furthermore, I harnessed Stanford's MacroBase data machine learning tool to help identify additional interesting trends in the data.
