I am a Class of 2021 graduate from UC San Diego, earning a bachelor's in Chemical Engineering and Economics.

I completed a Software-Engineering Immersive Program in 2022 and am currently working as a full-stack software engineer. I find the tech industry to be fascinating with its fast-paced evolution and am glad I made the switch into such a revolutionary field.

Created a fantasy board game visualizer, flush with custom battle mechanics and logic and an automatic battle feature by implementing a pathfinding algorithm.

- Created an interactive board and custom attack system with drag and drop capabilities to facilitate character movement
- Implemented a pathfinding functionality using the A* algorithm to create an automatic battle feature 
- Integrated attack system, battle log, live chat, and board with SocketIO to allow players to communicate and interact in real-time

### Undergraduate Research Assistant @ The Yang Lab

- Performed research on probes with the molecular rotor motif that bind to amyloid-β (Aβ), a misfolded protein that is the pathological biomarker of Alzheimer’s Disease that precedes clinical symptoms by as many as twenty years.

- Took part in the synthesis and development of 9 new probes, each based on a previously reported probe developed at the Yang Lab called Aryl Cyano Amide (ARCAM). 

- Published a paper in ACS Chemical Neuroscience on how the introduction of aliphatic substituents of different lengths affects fluorescence enhancement and emission wavelength when bound to Aβ.
