During my rotational internship, I had the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various departments, honing my skills and understanding across underwriting, user interface and user experience, and agile project management departments and teams.
Key Responsibilities and Learning Experiences:
1. Underwriting Department:
• Immersed myself in the underwriting process for workers' compensation insurance policies.
• Collaborated with seasoned professionals to analyze risk factors and evaluate policy applications.
• Assisted in assessing and mitigating potential risks, contributing to the creation of well-informed underwriting decisions.
2. UI/UX Team - IT Department:
• Gained insights into evaluating user behavior and enhancing user experience.
• Participated in end-user testing, observing firsthand how user feedback informs UI/UX design improvements.

3. Product Owners and Scrum Teams - IT Department:
• Acquired proficiency in utilizing Azure DevOps for efficient creation of user stories and story points.
