As a founding engineer, I contributed to building the company from the ground up—shaping both the technology and the team:

• Partnered with the CTO to design and implement the core foundation of the Endor platform, including monorepo architecture, microservices,

deployments, telemetry, and CI/CD pipelines. Tech stack: Bazel, gRPC, Go, MongoDB, GitHub Actions.

• Designed and built Endor’s first agentic platform, including model orchestration, tool integration, and observability systems—now powering

multiple AI-driven product features.

• Proposed, designed, and delivered multiple high-impact product capabilities (Endor Patch, SCA, Security-Review).

• Collaborated with the CTO and VP of Engineering to grow the engineering team from 1 to ~70 within 4 years.

• Served as Principal Architect supporting the VP of Engineering in defining technical direction, architecture standards, and engineering best

practices.

• Led development of key platform and product features mentoring junior and senior engineers.

• Participated in multiple client calls to provide technical guidance on the solution’s architecture, capabilities, and best practices for adoption.

Network Platform (RPC)

Owner and tech lead of RPC frameworks (gRPC/Protobuf, TChannel/Thrift, YARPC, YAB, Circuit Breaker, Retry etc...) used at Uber.

• Owner and tech leader of the open source project YARPC (https://github.com/yarpc/yarpc-go). Core libraries used by Uber for its microservice infrastructure. Serving 500+ services in production.

• Define RPC Roadmaps and OKRs. (gRPC Migration, Reliability Libraries, RPC Libraries, Support).

• Tech lead of a team of 8+ Junior/Senior Engineers.

• Mentor and coach 3 Junior/Senior Engineers.

Core services (User Platform)

Owner and tech lead of multiple high scale services in production (1M+ req/s used by 500+ clients) serving Core Trip Flow (Uber Mobility/Freight/Eat).

Founding engineer on the rebuilt of a high scale service from Python (Populous) to GoLang (C2.0). Owner of multiple tracks:

• Led end-to-end delivery of C2.0 authorization (100M+ authz/s with 1ms p99.95 latency).

• Led end-to-end effort to make C2.0 ready (build/test strategy) and efficient (1M+ req/s, 60ms p99.95 latency) for production.

• Led end-to-end integration effort of DOMA into C2.0 (https://eng.uber.com/microservice-architecture/)

• Built Caching foundation for C2.0.

• Reguraly OnCall (24/24 7d/7d) and always eager to improve services healths (optimization, observability, issues etc...).

As the first engineer at Aporeto (https://www.aporeto.com - cloud native security), I had the chance to work on multiple aspects of the Aporeto product including:

Developing the ReST API and backend foundations (golang, mongodb, microservices, kubernetes, docker, opentracing)

Developing the foundations of the functional testing framework (golang, cucumber, concourseci, aws, kubernetes, docker, vagrant) (technical lead of a team of 5 people)

Developing the foundations of the webapp (ReactJS)

Developing a graph library (d3js)
