Improved performance of one of Workday’s most commonly used customer reports by 93% by rewriting the search algorithm the report was using to search a graph of manager-worker relationships to more intelligently prune unnecessary search paths.

Led the design and implementation of an internal REST API to
a SaaS spreadsheet product acquisition with Workday’s HR software
by pushing user inputs to the spreadsheet integration server from the runtime of Workday’s Java-based domain specific language and then converted responses from the integration server into validated transactions in the Workday object-relational database.

Contributed to the design of a data model that would allow flexibility of customer data insertion while preserving auditability, and implemented a technically challenging migration of customer data from the old to new models
