Worked in Java, and leveraged technologies such as Apache Storm, HBase, and MongoDB. ### Research Intern @ Caltech Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship Jan 2013 – Jan 2013 Worked at LIGO (Laser Interferometer Gravitational Wave Observatory) as a basic physics researcher. Spent 10 weeks researching various piezoelectric materials by constructing test circuits and performing experiments. Learned to use oscilloscopes and various other laboratory equipment as well as studying the underlying physics behind piezoelectric materials. Also used problem solving skills to solve issues that arose over the course of the experiment which included designing equipment specifically for the purposes of this research project. ### Research Intern @ Alcatel-Lucent Jan 2011 – Jan 2012 | Holmdel, New Jersey Independently explored topics in network structure, internet protocols, and packet analysis. Designed and carried out an experiment regarding the composition and characteristics of network traffic in various situations and over various protocols.
